Burning for Birds StoryMap Now Live!

Last month, we featured a post on the recent visit from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Sara Barker, who joined Alachua Conservation Trust and Tall Timbers Research Station and Land Conservancy for land tours of current and future project sites for the Burning for Birds Conservation Collaborative. The collaborative, formed by these two land trusts, is an effort to promote growing season fire on private lands for the benefit of native birds. As part of the project, we created three interactive StoryMaps to expand our outreach on the topic of growing season fire. The StoryMap Collection is now live and can be viewed by clicking on the button below.

Special thanks to the Cornell Lab's Land Trust Bird Conservation Initiative for supporting this important project!
